This July the V&A opened the much anticipated Exhibition Road Quarter. Bringing the city into the museum and taking the museum out on to the street, the new space offers a dazzling courtyard and a cavernous underground gallery accessed via a new colonnade entrance on Exhibition Road.
Praxis’ Mono is the main wayfinding system in the V&A, so Praxis’ systems were specified for the new space – Manifest for the exterior and Mono for the interior.
Manifest is Praxis’ large format exterior banner system. Cleverly designed to hold banners in tension for as long as needed and to allow straightforward graphic changes, it is an ideal choice for a world-class museum like the V&A.
